Cafe Colonia is a visual identity project for a bar in Breda that bridges German and Dutch culture. The logo merges the iconic Cologne Cathedral with Breda’s Grote Kerk, symbolizing a meeting point of beer traditions and local hospitality. Inspired by Cologne’s brewing heritage and Breda’s vibrant café culture, the identity plays with bold gothic forms, warm tones, and a sense of shared conviviality. Beyond the logo, the design language is flexible, adapting to menus, signage, and merchandise, while celebrating the spirit of collaboration across borders.
